Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Application Engineer (Medical Packaging) to join our Flexible Packaging team in EMEA. You will work remotely with customers and internal teams to turn packaging challenges into robust, value-adding solutions and support product qualifications across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or similar roles within flexible packaging.
• Healthcare market knowledge is desirable.
• Strong understanding of packaging materials and customer manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to assess customer needs and translate them into practical solutions.
• Solid project management, problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for packaging applications at customers across EMEA in Healthcare (Medical) markets.
• Support customers with standard product selection, application optimization, and commercialization.
• Work closely with Sales and Field Technical Service to solve complex application issues.
• Lead and support standard product qualifications, sample testing and scale-ups at customer sites.
• Conduct packaging line and performance evaluations to demonstrate customer value.
• Capture customer and market insights to identify portfolio gaps and opportunities.
• Share knowledge internally and help build application capabilities across the organization.
