Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an Insurance Claims Leadership role with 8+ direct reports.
• At least 5 years of experience in Complaints, Fraud or Quality Assurance.
• Experience leading in a startup/high-growth company.
• Deep expertise in claims handling and insurance best practices; able to use data to drive decisions.
• Experience coaching colleagues to improve quality and productivity.
• Ability to inspire top performance and maintain strong organizational skills.
• Team player who supports colleagues to achieve the right results.

Responsibilities

• Line management of a team of Technical Claims Handlers, including HR and Performance management
• Drive top performance and KPI achievement in the team
• Claims workflow allocation and capacity planning to achieve high productivity and quality results
• Quality Assurance checks and coaching to improve quality of technical claims team output
• Maintain detailed oversight of the technical claims portfolio, including escalation of risks
