Job summary

Version 1, Belfast-based technology and transformation partner, is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join our Digital Data & Cloud Practice. You will guide cloud-based software initiatives and mentor a growing team on modern engineering practices across public and private sector.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectures (microservices).
• Experience with non-functional requirements in mind.
• Application/digital services design experience.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, code reviews, SOLID/DRY.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Provide technical leadership to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Work within an agile delivery methodology.
• Own product/software solution design, estimation, and requirements.
• Document solutions (architecture, configuration, release, handover).
• Collaborate with Version 1 and customer stakeholders throughout SDLC.
• Communicate complex designs clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
