Job summary

You will handle tax account inquiries by telephone, with cross‑channel support via email or Web Chat as needed, while following guidance and safeguarding data. DBS and Right to Work checks apply.

Qualifications

• Strong telephony skills and clear communication with customers.
• Willingness to travel to HMRC locations for IT collection or business needs.
• Ability to use MS Office and work with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound telephone queries from customers about tax accounts.
• Provide guidance, update HMRC systems, and protect customer data.
• Assist via Digital Mail Service or Web Chat when required.
• Escalate complex cases and aim to resolve at first point of contact.
