Job summary

Unipart is seeking an Analyst in its Consultancy team to drive supply chain optimisation and process improvements across long-term engagements. You will gather and model data, map current-state processes, and translate findings into actionable insights for measurable value and growth.

The role requires strong Excel modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills, with travel across the UK and globally as projects demand. Home-based with occasional office visits.

Qualifications

• Background as a Supply Chain Analyst, Business Analyst, or Lean/Operations specialist within structured project environments
• Degree qualified - or equivalent - in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint, with exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Alteryx highly desirable
• Practical understanding of cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling for operational improvement initiatives
• Competency or exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, or Unipart Way principles
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable with strong planning and task execution discipline
• Willingness and flexibility to travel across the UK and globally as client project commitments require

Responsibilities

• Perform client-site diagnostics to establish current baselines and identify optimization opportunities
• Clean, analyse, and model complex datasets to build data-driven cost-benefit analyses
• Synthesize complex data findings into structured conclusions and present actionable insights
• Track deliverables against project plans and follow governance frameworks
• Build relationships with client teams to support capability building
• Monitor project risks and escalate issues as needed
• Assist in identifying new client project opportunities and in pitches and proposals
• Contribute to Unipart Consulting case studies and continuous improvement methodologies
