Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Consultant to join a retail organisation in Southampton on a contract basis (Inside IR35). You will partner with operations, logistics and commercial stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights into stock performance, inventory health and supply chain efficiency.

Using SQL, Databricks and Python where appropriate, you will translate business questions into actionable analytics, own deliverables from requirement gathering to delivery, and communicate

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to interrogate and analyse large, complex datasets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytical insight across supply chain and logistics operations, identifying trends, risks and opportunities within stock and inventory data.
• Support stakeholders with ad hoc analytical requests and business-critical reporting.
• Analyse stock health and inventory performance to help improve operational efficiency and product availability.
• Partner with supply chain, logistics and commercial teams to translate business challenges into actionable data solutions.
• Improve visibility of operational data through clear reporting, analysis and recommendations.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders within Data & Analytics and Supply Chain functions.
