Job summary

Unipart is seeking a Field-based Supply Chain Consultant in the United Kingdom to diagnose, design, and deliver end-to-end supply chain transformations across warehouses, S&OP, and system deployments. You will drive commercial growth, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and translate data into compelling ROI narratives for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in specialist supply chain consultancy or transformation teams.
• Proven on-the-floor experience managing complex supply chain operations.
• Track record leading multi-disciplinary teams through diagnostic to go-live.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end distribution centre design and layout optimisation.
• Embed S&OP/IBP frameworks to optimise inventory and safety stock.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to eliminate waste across networks.
• Oversee selection and architecture of WMS, TMS, and ERP solutions.
• Manage procurement tenders for transport and warehousing and define SLAs.
• Maintain Best Practice Toolkit and publish white papers/case studies.
• Identify unmet client needs and design high-value proposals and RFIs.
• Present board-ready business cases showing ROI and partnerships growth.
