Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a 6-month contract. This remote-first role (3-4 days a month in the office) is based in London/Southampton and pays GBP500-550 per day inside IR35.

You will join a growing Data & Analytics function within a well-established retail business, turning complex supply chain data into actionable insights to drive operational improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse complex data.
• Experience with large datasets in a commercial environment.
• Ability to independently investigate data, solve problems, and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with operational teams.
• Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or retail analytics environments.
• Experience with Python and/or Databricks would be beneficial.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse supply chain and logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Deliver insights to improve stock visibility, stock health, product availability, and operational performance
• Partner with operational teams and stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven recommendations
• Work with large operational datasets to support ongoing analytics requirements
• Respond to ad hoc business questions and analytical requests
• Contribute to product ownership activities and help shape analytics solutions that support business objectives
