Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Officer for our Substation Upgrades team in the UK. You will develop and manage maintenance programs for substation assets and I&C systems, coordinate with multiple teams, and help drive project budgets and timelines.

The role offers involvement in maintenance planning, budgeting, and execution across Newcastle upon Tyne or Leeds, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaborative delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or project coordination in energy/utilities/industrial sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency with CMMS and developing maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for substation assets and I&C systems.
• Manage the work order lifecycle using CMMS.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution and safety standards.
• Contribute to annual maintenance budget planning and monitor expenditures.
• Support major turnaround activities and provide regular project updates.
