Sedgwick is seeking a Structural Design Engineer in the United Kingdom to join our busy design office. You will develop creative, sustainable solutions for damaged buildings, including sub-structure design and detailing, balancing rigor with innovation.

Working closely with the Design Office Manager, you’ll produce detailed drawings, obtain permissions, and help bring projects from concept to site. The role offers home-based flexibility with regular site travel and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• A engineering degree or similar qualification.
• Sub-structure expertise required for design & specification.
• CAD proficiency for detailed design drawings.
• Senior influence with stakeholders at a senior level.
• Organised & methodical with attention to detail.
• IT literacy across Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Clear communicator with diverse stakeholders.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Customer-focused approach on every scheme.

Responsibilities
