Job summary

PRS Engineering is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and validate a comprehensive SQA test suite for High Voltage Battery projects. The role requires static and dynamic analysis, SBOM creation, and vulnerability assessment, with integration into CI processes.

You will coordinate with suppliers and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards. The position is remote in the UK with on-site visits to Gateshead roughly every six weeks and reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 years’ engineering experience.
• Experience with PolySpace tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Test Suite including static and dynamic analysis.
• Create SBOMs and perform vulnerability analysis.
• Coordinate with software tool suppliers for the SQA suite.
• Demonstrate SQA capabilities on internal projects.
• Automate operation of the SQA Test Suite.
• Document design, creation, operation and future options for the SQA suite.
• Collaborate with design engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver programs.
• Adhere to company and industry quality standards.
