Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specification Sales/Business Development Manager to drive early-stage opportunities in Building Services Consultants across the UK. You will build trusted relationships with consultants, contractors and end users to influence specifications and secure long-term pipeline.

Fully remote role with up to 50% travel, reporting to the C&I Sales Leader, you will promote Eaton's electrical solutions across power distribution, energy management and sustainability projects, delivering

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a sales, business development or specification role within the electrical industry.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, panel builders, end users or channel partners.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence customer decisions and identify new opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a proven ability to develop and grow business.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic customer relationships, create demand through specification activity, and maximize opportunities across Eaton portfolio.
• Influence project specifications by promoting Eaton's value proposition and technical capabilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, design practices, contractors and end users.
• Track and maintain a healthy pipeline of specification opportunities in Salesforce.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical infrastructure and energy management solutions.
