Open Cosmos Ltd. is seeking a software engineer to join our Data Division, turning satellite data into actionable insights.

You will design, implement, validate, and maintain flight software for Linux and RTOS-based systems, collaborating with Systems, Electronics, and Mission Operations teams to ensure reliability across space missions. The role emphasizes strong Rust or C/C++ skills, Linux scripting, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and pytest.

Competenze

• Strong programming in Rust or C/C++ with ability to transition to Rust.
• Experience in Linux development environments and scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of RTOS and embedded software.
• Understanding of ECSS space standards and their practical implications.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, validate, and maintain satellite flight software.
• Support ground tools, ensuring robustness and traceability for space missions.
• Develop features for Linux and RTOS-based systems per requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing campaigns, and CI/CD processes.
