Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Sourcing Manager to lead indirect procurement, developing and executing sourcing strategies for IT, marketing, HR services, and facilities management. This fully remote role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship leadership, and a data-driven approach to drive cost savings and risk mitigation from any remote location.

• Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, focusing on indirect spend.
• Proven success in developing and executing complex sourcing strategies and delivering cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for indirect spend categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes: market analysis, RFx development, supplier selection, contract negotiation.
• Manage and nurture strategic relationships with indirect suppliers globally.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize cost, quality and service levels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing with business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, ethical sourcing standards and regulations.
• Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost reduction.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and support business continuity for indirect services.
• Mentor junior procurement team members where applicable.

• Proven success in developing and executing complex sourcing strategies and delivering significant cost savings.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of global sourcing practices and indirect procurement categories.
• Proficiency in e-sourcing tools and procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, adapted for remote interaction.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive results in a remote setting.
• Experience in the technology or digital media industry is highly desirable.
