Job summary

Softwerx, a Microsoft-centric security services provider, is recruiting several SOC analysts for a remote, work-from-home role in the UK. The team handles security monitoring and incident response for a diverse client base with strong Microsoft tooling and accreditations.

Candidates should have information security fundamentals, good communication, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Azure Portal. Training, benefits, and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Information Security principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical understanding of IT infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Azure portal).
• Ability to install security software and applications.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and categorisation of initial event, incident and requests from customers.
• Provide initial triage and trigger escalation/assignment as appropriate.
• Investigation of event alerts and liaising with the customer to confirm closure.
• 24/7 rota in 8 hour shift pattern (see attached).
