Job summary

Talantir, a Microsoft Gold Partner, is hiring a SOC Analyst for a fully remote role across the UK. You will triage incidents, monitor Defender alerts, and work with clients to mitigate risk while developing into a security expert with funded Microsoft certifications.

The role includes structured development, hands-on experience with modern security tools, and a clear path into specialist security or consulting positions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and M365 Admin Centre.
• Experience identifying and responding to phishing and security alerts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an initial responder for potential security incidents, triage and escalate as needed.
• Monitor and analyse security alerts, work with customers to understand risks.
• Investigate Defender Portal alerts, assess phishing activity, and mitigate threats.
• Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve incidents and drive improvement.
• Follow playbooks while developing technical, analytical, and investigative skills.
