Job summary

Computer Futures is seeking an experienced Software Architect to shape the future of a market-leading Warehouse Control System platform. You will drive design across the full software lifecycle, from architecture through delivery, while engaging customers and guiding technical teams.

You will work with C#/.NET, Azure, microservices and distributed systems to deliver scalable, modern solutions. A hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery is ideal.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Software Architect or similar leadership role.
• Extensive C# and .NET development background.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Define application, integration, deployment, and data architecture across the WCS platform.
• Design scalable software solutions using modern Microsoft technologies.
• Establish architectural standards, development frameworks, and governance.
• Lead design reviews and guide delivery throughout the lifecycle.
• Support integration with WMS, ERP, robotics, conveyors, and third-party platforms.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions with customers and stakeholders.
• Provide architectural support during FAT, SAT, and deployments.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and influence roadmaps and tooling.
• Contribute to long-term platform strategy.
