Job summary

Computer Futures is seeking a hands-on Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of a market-leading Warehouse Control System platform. You will own architecture across the WCS, collaborating with engineering teams and customers to drive modern, scalable solutions for complex distribution, logistics and fulfilment environments.

This role covers solution design through to delivery, mentoring engineers and shaping technical roadmaps, while working with Azure, .NET and microservices in a

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience as Software/Technical Architect or Senior Technical Lead.
• Extensive C# and .NET development experience.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• API design, systems integration and SOA experience.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems and messaging.
• Cloud experience in Azure and/or AWS.
• Docker and containerisation experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and define architecture across the WCS platform.
• Design scalable, resilient software solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance across delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor developers and act as technical leader across project teams.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and deployments.
