Job summary

Trust Payments is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Technology department. The role is predominantly remote with occasional travel to Bangor, UK.

You will maintain and evolve business-critical services in AWS, improve reliability, security and scalability, and support an internal Platform used to deploy services. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will ensure PCI DSS Level 1 and GDPR compliance, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor junior staff while

Qualifications

• AWS services including VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, Route53.
• Networking knowledge for cloud design and debugging.
• Linux system administration and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design and discovery work.
• Identify issues and propose realistic solutions.
• Improve maintainability, reliability, performance and security of systems.
• Resolve operational issues with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Join an on-call rota (monthly).
• Stay updated on best practices and apply them.
• Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues and guide the team.
• Design, build, maintain and improve the internal Platform functions.
