Location: Remote / Cardiff – quarterly onsite attendance required

About the Role

Our client is looking for experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineers to build, maintain and improve secure, resilient infrastructure and platform services.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on Linux, AWS, Terraform, Docker and infrastructure security. You will work across cloud platforms, automation, configuration management and operational security to ensure critical services remain reliable, protected and scalable.

You will also work closely with engineering and security teams, providing technical guidance and driving improvements across infrastructure, automation and platform operations.

Essential Experience & Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Senior Infrastructure, Platform or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting infrastructure within AWS.
• Commercial experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerised environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles.
• Experience with infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management and secure configuration.
• Experience using Python for infrastructure automation or tooling.
• Knowledge of identity and access management.
• Experience supporting secure, resilient and highly available production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience within large-scale or complex enterprise environments.
• Infrastructure monitoring, alerting and observability.
• Security incident investigation and remediation.
• Configuration management and automated infrastructure deployment.
• Cloud governance, compliance and security standards.

Working Arrangements

The role can be worked predominantly remotely, with attendance at the Cardiff office approximately once per quarter.

Candidates must be able to attend onsite when required.
