Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to join our fully remote operations team, supporting global projects from the East London hub. You will design, optimize, and standardize industrial processes across units using data analysis, simulation tools, and best practices to drive efficiency and reduce costs remotely.
The successful candidate has 7+ years in industrial engineering, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred), and proven ability to lead complex remote projects with
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with significant remote project management experience.
- Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
- Proficiency with simulation software Arena and AnyLogic, plus advanced analytical tools.
- Ability to lead complex projects in a distributed, virtual environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, analysis, and optimization of industrial processes using advanced modeling and simulation.
- Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for global operations.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Drive cost reductions and efficiency gains through re-engineering and automation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the remote team's development.
