Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to join our fully remote operations team, supporting global projects from the East London hub. You will design, optimize, and standardize industrial processes across units using data analysis, simulation tools, and best practices to drive efficiency and reduce costs remotely.

The successful candidate has 7+ years in industrial engineering, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred), and proven ability to lead complex remote projects with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with significant remote project management experience.
• Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred).
• Proficiency with simulation software Arena and AnyLogic, plus advanced analytical tools.
• Ability to lead complex projects in a distributed, virtual environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial processes using advanced modeling and simulation techniques.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for global operations.
• Analyze operational data from various sources to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and management, to implement changes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and efficiency gains through process re-engineering and automation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of the remote engineering team's capabilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with significant experience in remote project management and execution.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and advanced analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and drive change in a distributed team setting.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, especially in a virtual environment .
