Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Process Engineer in East London to lead process improvements and drive operational efficiency. You will analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes, collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve cost reductions and quality gains.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and 3–5 years' experience, with proficiency in process analysis, Lean methods, and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of industrial/process engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design and implement new process layouts, equipment changes, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain process documentation such as flowcharts and SOPs.
• Use SPC and other quality tools to monitor and improve performance.
• Lead small-to-mid scale process improvement projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
