Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer I to lead design and support of EUC collaboration solutions with a focus on core productivity tools. You will help deliver the EUC roadmap, escalate issues, and drive improvements across the M365 ecosystem while championing governance for Copilot and Power Platform.

You’ll mentor colleagues, participate in agile collaboration, and promote secure, scalable, and user-friendly workplace technology for a global user base.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
• Experience designing, implementing, or supporting Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Clear communication of technical info to diverse audiences.
• Experience in delivery-focused or agile environments.
• Familiarity with Copilot or AI-enabled technologies.
• Experience administering collaboration tools like Slack.
• Understanding governance, security, or compliance practices (or willingness to develop).
• Interest in mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and implement best practices across Microsoft 365 technologies, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and Power Platform.
• Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment to ensure performance, security, and compliance.
• Lead and support governance for Power Platform and AI-enabled tools.
• Work with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Act as a technical point of contact for collaboration and productivity platforms.
• Deliver improvements and new capabilities within the M365 ecosystem and support user adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out and maintain solutions.
• Share knowledge and contribute to collaborative ways of working.
