Job summary

Awin Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning and analytical solutions that drive business decisions. This role collaborates with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate challenges into scalable data-driven solutions.

You will design evaluation frameworks, lead end-to-end pipelines, and mentor junior data scientists while promoting governance and best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Proven experience delivering ML and analytical solutions from discovery through to deployment and business impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries.
• Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, MLflow.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of ML, forecasting, recommendation, and analytical solutions with measurable impact.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design and implement evaluation frameworks, experiments, and success metrics to measure outcomes.
• Mentor data scientists and contribute to best practices across the team.
