Job summary

Awin Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive data strategy and deliver scalable ML solutions that influence commercial decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop forecasting, recommendation, and analytics capabilities, and lead end-to-end model development from ideation to production.

We expect 5+ years in data science or ML, strong Python and libraries, and hands-on experience with Databricks, MLflow, and Delta Lake.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Science or ML roles with deployment experience.
• Advanced Python and data science libraries (NumPy, PySpark, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with Databricks, including Jobs, Delta Lake and MLflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of ML, forecasting, and analytical solutions with measurable impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Engineering and Data teams to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design evaluation frameworks, experiments, and success metrics to measure outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and promote best practices across the Data Science team.
