Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant with life sciences software programming experience to help customers maximise EDC in Vault CDMS. This full-time, customer-facing role is open to candidates working remotely from the EU or UK.

You will act as a trusted advisor, interpret protocol requirements, lead database development, coordinate with sponsor, CRO and other vendors, and configure data transfers and listings. Some travel is required (up to 10%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years with EDC clinical software and end-to-end data management.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes and data workflows.
• Programming experience in SAS, R, JSON, Python, or SQL.
• Experience in a customer-facing software services role.
• Background in life sciences industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and sites to design trials meeting goals.
• Translate protocol requirements into project specifications.
• Lead database development and coordinate with sponsor and CRO.
• Configure Vault CDMS forms and SQL listings.
• Support testing and go-live activities.
• Identify risks and communicate with project management.
• Collaborate with product and development teams.
• Share feedback with Vault CDMS product team.
