Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Migration Consultant to lead data migration programs for Vault CDMS/DQS, focusing on migrating legacy data from platforms like Medidata Rave and Oracle InForm.

This customer-facing, full-time role requires deep experience with large clinical datasets and strong collaboration with Sponsors and CROs. You will develop validation scripts, transform and map data, and mentor junior staff while working across cross-functional technical teams to ensure data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software covering end-to-end data management
• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes, data collection and review
• Programming in SAS, Python or SQL, with ability to learn new SQL-based languages
• Experience in life sciences industry with project assessment, planning, development and implementation
• Customer-facing experience in software professional services or consulting

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sponsors and CROs to interpret legacy database structures and data mappings
• Perform data transformation, mapping, and script validation on large clinical datasets
• Lead end-to-end data migration across active clinical trials per project plan
• Develop and configure validation scripts and SQL-based listings for data integrity
• Provide feedback to Vault CDMS & DQS product teams based on migration challenges
• Contribute to reusable migration tools and templates, mentoring junior team members
