Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil engineering with focus on highways drainage design.
• Experience delivering drainage designs for National Highways or UK highways projects.
• Proficient with drainage design software such as MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver highways drainage designs for major infrastructure projects.
• Produce surface water drainage designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Undertake drainage modelling and hydraulic assessments.
• Develop and coordinate detailed designs using relevant drainage design software.
• Ensure designs comply with DMRB, National Highways requirements and UK standards.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design deliverables.
• Coordinate drainage designs with highways, structures and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Liaise with project managers and design leads to deliver projects on time.
• Independently manage drainage design packages to deadlines.
