Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for their Nottingham office. The role involves leading the civil engineering design team on adoptable highways and drainage schemes across the East Midlands and UK.

You will manage project delivery, liaise with clients and stakeholders, prepare quotes, and utilise software including Micro Drainage, InfoDrainage, PDS, Civil 3D and AutoCAD. A BSc/BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Good level of relevant detailed design experience in civil engineering.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects within the civil engineering team in support of the Associate.
• Liaise with clients, other consultants and stakeholders.
• Manage delivery of projects and quote for work.
• Design and detailing of adoptable highways, drainage, earthworks, private SuDS schemes, and related works.
