Job summary

Version 1 seeks an Applied AI Architect to lead production-grade, multi-agent AI systems for client engagements. You will design, deploy and maintain agentic architectures in collaboration with customer architects and senior engineers, guiding decisions with deep technical credibility.

You will shape engagements by running workshops, establishing standards, and delivering reference implementations and evaluators that prove real-world readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven agentic systems experience in production

Responsibilities

• Advise customer AI architects and engineers on design decisions
• Run discovery, workshops and architecture reviews with stakeholders
• Architect multi-agent systems for real production workloads
• Build reference implementations, evaluation suites and accelerators
• Solve production problems like hallucinations, tool-call failures, latency and cost
• Set technical standards and own architecture for complex engagements
• Define evaluation and observability strategies before production
• Mentor Applied AI Consultants and Associates
• Contribute reusable architectures and tooling to Version 1's toolkit
• Stay current with agent frameworks, orchestration patterns and models
