Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting an experienced SEND Caseworker to join our remote SEND team. You will manage EHCP caseloads, coordinate assessments and annual reviews, and work with families, schools and health professionals to ensure statutory duties are met.

This interim role offers fully remote working, a supportive team and professional development opportunities, with a focus on delivering person-centred outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a SEND team, local authority, education setting or related service.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
• Experience managing EHCPs and statutory assessment processes.
• Excellent communication, organisational and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with SEND.
• Coordinate Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and statutory processes.
• Draft, amend and maintain EHCPs in line with current legislation and statutory timescales.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to parents, carers, schools and professionals.
• Organise and attend annual reviews and multi-agency meetings where required.
• Monitor provision and ensure that agreed support is effectively implemented.
• Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
• Work in partnership with education, health and social care colleagues to deliver person-centred outcomes.
