Job summary

SEND Casework Officer role offering a highly flexible hybrid model in the UK. Salary £250–£280 per day, 37 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with remote work and monthly attendance in Oxfordshire.

You will manage caseloads of children and young people with EHCPs, coordinate Annual Reviews and Phase Transfers, and liaise with families, schools and professionals. Candidates should have strong EHCP/SEND casework experience, ideally within a Local Authority.

Qualifications

• Experience with EHCP statutory processes and timelines.
• Experience managing an individual caseload.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with families, schools and professionals.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to analyse complex information and professional reports.

Responsibilities

• Managing a defined caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
• Coordinating and monitoring Annual Reviews and Phase Transfers.
• Managing cases moving into and out of the county.
• Monitoring EHCP provision and ensuring plans are implemented effectively.
• Acting as a key contact for families, young people, schools and professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and databases.
• Ensuring Draft, Final and amended EHCPs are accurate and of a high standard.
