Job summary

DEBRA International is recruiting a Community Support Area Manager (Scotland) to provide tailored community support, information, and advocacy. The role is based from home (35 hours/week) with travel to client home visits and clinics across Scotland and required training at the Head Office in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Qualifications

• Experience working face to face with the public in advisory or health and social care settings.
• Willingness to gain EB/welfare reform knowledge and community support expertise.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred community support including education, employment, housing and benefits.
• Support the EB community through information, advocacy, liaison and signposting.
• Engage with the EB community to understand needs and promote DEBRA services.
• Refer to professionals or agencies to ensure members feel supported.
• Contribute to service planning and policy development for the EB community.
• Assess referred members’ needs and prioritise support accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records using DEBRA’s CRM.
