Job summary

DEBRA International is seeking a part-time Business Development Manager (21 hours per week) to grow fundraising activity. Based in Scotland with remote work and travel across Scotland, including occasional trips to the Head Office, the role focuses on corporate partnerships, events, auctions, and donor stewardship.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in business development, fundraising or sponsorship, strong relationship skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, fundraising, sponsorship or account management.
• Strong networking and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing pipelines and CRM systems.
• Organised, self-motivated and results-focused.
• Commitment to delivering excellent supporter experiences.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Secure corporate partnerships aligned to DEBRA's mission and generate sponsorship income.
• Develop compelling partnership proposals and manage a pipeline of prospects.
• Drive ticket, table and team sales for Scottish fundraising events; support sponsorship packages.
• Generate leads through supporter and business networks; represent DEBRA at events.
• Secure auction prizes; build relationships with businesses and donors; coordinate prize fulfilment.
