Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager (Steel / Construction) to head up sales for a longstanding steelworks specialist in the South of England. You will manage a hybrid role across the south coast, developing relationships with existing clients and winning new business.

The role requires proven success in sales within structural steel or construction, the ability to tender, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in construction or steel is preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage an in-market pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Manage a sales territory across the south coast of England.
• Develop existing accounts while generating new business opportunities.
• Visit new and existing clients to build long-term relationships.
• Prepare sales plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
