Job summary

Homz, a nationwide planning consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Town Planner for a remote, commission-based role. The candidate will work independently and with a team to provide professional planning advice, communicate with clients, and complete planning checklists using templates.

Responsibilities include client consultations by phone, feasibility reports, planning statements, and submitting applications while coordinating with councils through to decision.

Qualifications

• RTPI-accredited Town Planner (required).
• Excellent report writing and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse data for informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Compile phone consultations with clients.
• Prepare Feasibility reports.
• Write Planning and Design Access Statements.
• Submit planning applications and manage communications with the council until decision.
