Job summary

PropSource Consulting in Edinburgh is seeking a Town Planner to join a growing planning and development team. You will provide planning advice, prepare reports, and liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities on a diverse mix of projects across residential, retail, leisure, commercial and higher education.

• Minimum 2 years experience in planning or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including report writing

Responsibilities

• Provide professional planning advice to clients and represent them at meetings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate planning reports, applications, appeals, and representations for submission.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop planning strategies and assess supporting information.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with fee proposals and marketing.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through CPD and ongoing learning.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
