Job summary

Homz, a nationwide planning consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Town Planner for a remote, commission-based role. The candidate will work independently and with a team to provide professional planning advice, communicate with clients, and complete planning checklists using templates.

Responsibilities include client consultations by phone, feasibility reports, planning statements, and submitting applications while coordinating with councils through to decision.

Qualifications

• RTPI-accredited Town Planner (required).
• Excellent report writing and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse data for informed decisions.

Job description

We are Homz; an award-winning young dynamic UK's nationwide planning consultancy with a qualified team of architects and town planners.

This is a remote commission based role, and the candidate must be self-motivated, ambitious and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver professional advice to our clients. The role is a client-facing one, so having strong communication skills is a must. The candidate will advise the client verbally and using a template complete a planning checklist for each client.

Requirements:

• RTPI-accredited Town Planner
• UK Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning
• Strong knowledge of UK national planning principles and practices
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse data for informed decision-making

PART-TIME or FULL-TIME

The role is home-based so there is a degree of flexibility, but hours of work are from 10.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday.
