Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automation & Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems for manufacturing clients. Work remotely, collaborating with global teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial automation, proficiency with ABB/KUKA/Fanuc robots and PLCs, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills. A stable remote setup is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in industrial automation and robotics.
• Experience programming ABB/KUKA/Fanuc robots and PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley).
• Knowledge of vision systems and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission automated systems and robotic cells.
• Develop and optimize robotic work-cells for various manufacturing applications.
• Integrate PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other control system components.
• Perform remote troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system debugging.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers via virtual platforms to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics, flow diagrams, and user manuals.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation and robotics technology.
• Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation design and implementation processes.
