Placements24 client, a global leader in industrial automation, is seeking a Remote Electrical Engineer to design, develop and implement automation and control systems for manufacturing clients. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere within South Africa, with no relocation or daily commute.
You will collaborate with a distributed team, program PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron), design HMI/SCADA, create wiring diagrams, and ensure safety and compliance while advancing
Qualificações
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics required.
- Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering with automation focus.
- Proficient in PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron) and HMI/SCADA software.
- Strong remote troubleshooting and independent work capability.
Responsabilidades
- Design electrical control systems for automation projects, incl. PLC, HMI/SCADA, and motor control.
- Create detailed schematics and control panel layouts using CAD.
- Specify components, sensors, actuators, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot and support remote installations and commissioning teams.
