About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Retail Operations Coordinator to manage and streamline operational processes for their nationwide retail network. This is a fully remote position, requiring excellent communication and project management skills. You will be responsible for coordinating various operational functions, ensuring efficiency, and supporting store-level activities from a central, remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily retail operations across multiple store locations remotely. Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance. Support store teams with operational challenges, providing timely guidance and solutions. Oversee inventory management processes, including stock level monitoring and reconciliation. Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for operational supplies. Assist in the rollout of new operational initiatives and technologies. Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Prepare operational reports and present findings to management. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security protocols across all retail sites. Facilitate communication between head office departments and store operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail operations, logistics, or a related field, with a significant portion in a coordinating or management capacity. Strong understanding of retail operational workflows, inventory management, and supply chain principles. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote setting. Proficiency in using operational software, project management tools, and standard office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liapen with diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously. Experience with a remote work environment is highly desirable. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be based in South Africa and have a reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup.
