Job summary

Platform Housing Group seeks a Repairs Surveyor for the Complex Repairs team on a fixed-term contract to 27 August 2027. The role is home-based with regular travel across Leicestershire and surrounding areas, focusing on damp, mould and condensation surveys to support asset data and planning.

You'll gather property information, raise work orders, and contribute to service improvements while maintaining customer communication throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in damp, mould and complex surveys.
• Knowledge of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
• Technical ability to advise on construction, maintenance and repair issues.

Responsibilities

• Assess Platform assets by carrying out repairs and DMC surveys.
• Gather accurate property information to update asset databases.
• Support business planning and future programmes of work.
• Maintain damp and mould registers and manage asset data.
• Raise work orders and process contractor payments; communicate with customers.
