Job summary

Crest Recruitment is seeking a Project Surveyor for a 9‑month fixed-term role in Bath. You will own repair projects, diagnosing defects, setting works specifications, and managing delivery to meet budget and quality targets.

Ideal candidates will have a construction qualification (HNC/HND), strong communication and stakeholder management, and experience with health and safety, CDM, and damp surveys. Hybrid working between home, office, and site is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HNC/HND Level 3 qualification in Construction or equivalent experience.
• Evidence ability to diagnose building defects, set specifications and manage projects to completion.
• Experience using NHF SORs for preparing work schedules.
• Experience working with leaseholders and ensuring S20 compliance on repair projects.
• Experience with listed or historic buildings, consent processes, and adherence to guidelines.
• Experience delivering small/medium project management within property services or similar.
• Understanding of health and safety in properties, CDM, asbestos, fire, water, gas, and electrical safety.
• Knowledge of Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and its application.
• Knowledge of serving Damp and Mould surveys and related risks.
• Strong time management and self-motivation.

• Take ownership of repair projects and provide technical solutions for residents.
• Provide a full range of surveying functions to support asset maintenance.
• Ensure repair works are delivered within budget and quality standards.
