Job summary

Moorland Recruitment are partnering with an established renewable energy business to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for the solar PV and wider renewables market across the UK. Remote working option with field-based responsibilities.

You will identify and convert opportunities, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth. The role requires a proven B2B business development track record, strong networks in solar/renewables, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously

Qualifications

• Proven B2B business development experience in renewables or related sectors.
• Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, electrical distribution, energy tech or related markets.
• Strong record of winning and growing new business.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage a territory and pipeline autonomously.
• Experience selling technical products or solutions.
• Confident dealing with senior decision-makers.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Existing relationships within UK solar/renewable energy markets advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across the solar PV and renewable energy market.
• Build relationships with installers, contractors, developers and commercial customers.
• Manage and grow strategic customer accounts.
• Identify new projects, opportunities and routes to market.
• Deliver against revenue and margin targets.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer meetings.
• Produce commercial proposals and negotiate agreements.
• Collaborate with internal technical, operational and commercial teams.
• Monitor market activity, competitors and emerging opportunities.
