Job summary

Mining Remediation Authority is seeking a Regional Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of public safety and subsidence projects across the North East of England, with occasional work in Cumbria. You’ll coordinate investigations, remediation works and contractor performance to ensure safe, efficient delivery and value for money.

The role offers predominantly home-based working with regular site visits, extensive stakeholder engagement and potential involvement in emergency response activities

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating complex public safety or subsidence projects.
• Experience working with contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and procurement processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple public safety and subsidence projects from planning to delivery.
• Oversee investigations, remediation works and contractor performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, communities and external partners.
• Balance quality, cost, timescales and risk to deliver value for money.
• Make sound decisions using technical information and professional judgement.
• Communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
