Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of coal mining hazard, subsidence and remediation projects across Scotland.

The role is home-based with significant travel across Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Fife and the Lothians, including site visits accounting for roughly 75% of the week. The candidate should have NEC3/NEC4 accreditation and a Chartered status (MRICS/CEng or equivalent) with proven management of multiple complex projects and contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in mining, engineering, remediation or related fields.
• Experience managing contractors/consultants under NEC contracts.
• Strong stakeholder communication and independent multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of coal mining hazard, subsidence and remediation projects across Scotland.
• Develop and implement project plans, priorities and resource needs.
• Administer NEC contracts and oversee consultants/contractors to ensure cost-efficient delivery.
• Undertake site inspections, field investigations and evidence submissions for claims/arbitrations.
• Act as a public-facing representative and support emergency hazard response services.
