The Coal Authority is seeking an experienced Regional Project Manager to lead a portfolio of mining-related projects across the North East. You will manage projects from planning through delivery, coordinating contractors, consultants and suppliers, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You'll lead a varied portfolio of projects investigating and remediating mining-related hazards, working with contractors, consultants, local authorities and customers to deliver practical solutions that keep people safe.

What you'll be doing
- Managing multiple projects from planning through to delivery.
- Overseeing contractors, consultants and suppliers.

- Supporting emergency responses to mining-related incidents when required.
- Delivering projects that protect people, property and infrastructure.
About you
We're interested in hearing from candidates with project management experience gained in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, environmental services, surveying, geology or similar sectors.
You'll be confident managing projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and project financial management would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates with transferable project delivery experience.
