The ideal candidate has a master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in process R&D, strong modeling skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a remote team.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years in chemical process R&D, with experience in modeling/simulation.
• Strong foundation in reaction engineering, thermodynamics and transport phenomena.
• Experience with experimental design and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and develop novel chemical processes and technologies.
• Conduct laboratory-scale experiments, pilot studies, and feasibility analyses.
• Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to optimize designs.
• Collaborate with R&D scientists, product developers, and manufacturing engineers.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports.
• Stay current with literature and advancements in relevant fields.
