Job summary

Babington is seeking a Customer Engagement Consultant (Public Sector) for a remote role with UK travel. You will develop and grow relationships with new and existing customers in Babington’s apprenticeship and training portfolio, driving revenue through consultative selling.

Work with the Head of Customer Engagement to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and influence stakeholders to meet ambitious growth targets. Remote, with travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Experience managing customer accounts and retention.
• Strong consultative, solution-based sales capability.
• Knowledge of UK apprenticeships and funding landscape.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term customer relationships as trusted advisor.
• Retain and grow accounts through repeat business and expanded training.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within market verticals.
• Deliver consultative sales conversations that uncover customer needs and align solutions.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Represent Babington at events and industry forums.
